Creative Composition and Depth

Learn, not only how to compose your work to draw the viewer in, but also how use a sense of depth to hold the viewers interest longer. Discover the key to editing your reference material, whether you are working from photos or life. Laurie will provide subject matter for days 1, 2 & 3 while teaching you how to choose what to paint and how to make your choice of subject matter work as a successful painting. Good composition is the key! On days 4 & 5, you may bring your own photo references or work from photos provided by Laurie. Beginners and advanced painters alike will come away with a new understanding of how create great design and achieve a sense of visual depth through Laurie's techniques. Lessons learned can be applied to any painting style or skill level. Plenty of painting time , demos, and individual instruction. You will be amazed at the new levels of dimension you create!
