These are original works of art, not prints or computer generated or aided. I use quality professional grade watercolor paint and archival watercolor paper. Paintings should be framed under glass upon receipt and hung out of direct sunlight.
🚛Your painting will be shipped to you professionally packed with protective packaging material. Currently only shipping to US addresses. Paintings take 1-3 weeks to complete prior to shipping. I am a US-based painter and sculptor with 30 years of experience. My works have been published in books and magazines and can be found in private collections around the globe. Each of my watercolor portraits are hand painted me, from your photo.
ABOUT THE PORTRAITS
You will receive a museum quality product with lasting value. My watercolor style is realism, and I love unique angles, backgrounds and lighting situations which make a portrait unique. Let me know the look you are envisioning.
I’ll need a photo that is well-lit and clear enough to see small facial features. Keep I mind that a ¾ view, meaning turned partially to the side, is often most attractive. When you send your photo and any special requests for how you want your portrait to look, I can let you know if additional references will be necessary. I can make changes or combine images together.
SIZES
A classic portrait is head and shoulders. If more of the figure is desired the minimum size is 11 x 14. If you would like 2 figures included, the minimum size is 12 x 16. For portraits featuring more than 3-4 people, the minimum size is 16 x 20. For portraits featuring more than 4 people, the minimum size is 18 x 24. Please contact me for larger sizes.
