Parrots

Above is one of my newer pieces. A bit different for me as it is a digital paintings. I decided to give it a go and I am pretty happy with the result. They did take quite a bit of time and effort, but the process was more forgiving than traditional watercolor once you get the hang of it.

That being said, it did take a good six years to get the hang of it though!

I am nothing but persistent.

Notice the parrots themselves are dripping and appear to be washing away. It is my commentary on the disappearing rainforests. Also a rare type of statement from me.

there is a blue one as well. I intended them to be hung side by side, facing each other. I'd love to hear what you think!
