🎨This is hand painted custom oil painting! These are original works of art, not prints or computer generated or aided. I use quality professional grade oil paint and canvas. Paintings are on gallery wrapped canvas and edges will be painted so a frame is optional.
🚛Your painting will be shipped to you professionally packed with protective packaging material. Currently only shipping to US addresses. Paintings take 1-2 weeks to complete and at least 1 week to dry prior to shipping.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am a US-based painter and sculptor with 30 years of experience. My works have been published in books and magazines and can be found in private collections around the globe. Each of my oil portraits are hand painted me, from your photo.
ABOUT THE PORTRAITS
I use my own unique, oil finger-painting technique to begin each piece and switch to brushes at the end of the process, to create any fine detail. I paint on gallery wrapped stretched canvas. You will receive a museum quality product with lasting value.
I’ll need a photo that is well-lit and clear enough to see small facial features. Keep I mind that a ¾ view, meaning turned partially to the side, is often most attractive. When you send your photo and any special requests for how you want your portrait to look, I can let you know if additional references will be necessary. I can make changes or combine images together.
SIZES
A classic portrait is head and shoulders. If more of the figure is desired or if you would like 2 figures included, the minimum size is 16 x 20. For portraits featuring more than 2 people, the minimum size is 18 x 24. Please contact me for larger sizes.
