"Exposed" is a poignant work of contemporary realism, created with acrylic and liquid graphite on paper. The painting features a partially translucent female figure whose face is turned away, leaving her identity a mystery. Her arms are crossed in a protective gesture, as though shielding herself from the world, while vibrant, colorful smoke swirls in front of her, partially obscuring her bare shoulders.

The translucency of the figure symbolizes vulnerability, as though she is revealing more of her true self than she intends. The swirling smoke acts as both a shield and a veil, representing the tension between hiding and being seen.

This piece captures the universal struggle of balancing authenticity with self-protection. "Exposed" invites viewers to reflect on their own layers of vulnerability and the courage it takes to reveal one’s true self. It is both intimate and enigmatic, drawing the viewer into a deeply emotional narrative.
